Aquino appeals for computer donation

Panipunuan Integrated School in San Fernando, Pampanga. The school principal urges stakeholders to collaborate with them in improving the quality of education offered in their school. She claims that the number of computer units in their school is not sufficient to the number of their students. However, the principal as well as the teachers of the school still targets to deliver computer lessons to their students.

The principal believes that teaching necessary computer skills to students will help them become competitive in whatever profession they wish to pursue. Furthermore, this will also equip them in performing future research and other school-related activities. That is the reason why the principal appeals to the iSchool project to choose them as one of their recipient. She assures that if their school will be given more computer units, they will be enhanced in teaching the subject and the students will become fully-prepared as they enter college.

Cruz anticipates Computer donation

The administrator of F. Bernardino Memorial Trade School in Marilao Bulacan, Mr. Rey Cruz, is looking forward for the possibility that their school will be qualified to become the recipient of the iSchool computer donation project for the students as well as the faculty. Due to the demand of teaching computer skills to the students and as a response to the globally-enhanced strategies in the teaching and learning process, the school offered courses in computer. However, the members of the faculty teaching the subject found it very difficult to apply the objectives of the course because of limited computer units. That is the main reason why they will be very delighted if the number of computer units will at least become proportional to the population of their students.

The school presently holds about four thousand students. Knowing the fact that computer is a skill-based subject, students will not learn well if they don’t have the appropriate and necessary exposure or hands on to the actual computer. Cruz claims that he will appreciate if their school will be chosen as the recipient. “Malaking bagay sa school kung mapipili na maging recipient at mabibigyan ng computers dahill mahigit 4000 ang mga students pero konti lang yung computer sa school,” the administrator added.
